NTCC is proud to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship, always playing with passion, integrity, and respect for the game. As the oldest cricket club in Tamworth, we are dedicated to promoting cricket at all levels and ensuring that everyone, from juniors to seasoned players, has the opportunity to participate in this great game.

Club History

North Tamworth Cricket Club’s journey began in late 1927, and by early 1928, we played our first official match. Led by the Rowlands brothers, Dick and Ike, who were exceptional bowlers, our club achieved immediate success. Throughout the years, NTCC has seen many legendary players, including Ken Falkenmire, Bill & Pat Hayes, Albert Otte, and John Muller (OAM), contributing to our rich history of premiership wins. The 1950s and 60s were particularly successful decades for NTCC, solidifying our reputation as a powerhouse in the Tamworth District Cricket Association.

In 2016, NTCC took a significant step by forming an incorporated association, providing a governance structure that ensures the club operates in accordance with the Clubs Constitution, NSW Association Laws, and legal requirements. This decision reflects our commitment to transparency and accountability, further strengthening our club’s foundation for future generations.
